If you dislike a band very much, would it be almost like torture to see them?

Only if good people were with me.

I could be talked into it.

No way! It would be excruciating.

I would consider it, but very likely no.

Only if enough of my friends were there to noticeably 'walk out' when they came on stage; so anything other than a bar venue would be a NO.

Yeah, probably no, still have to get there. I eat more than 1x a day some so like that’s 20$ for some hot doggies(on small side) with some like maybe a side. Not favorite and still went I’d would booze until I forgot how much this free concert cost me and least fav. Turns to “OMG 🥴 I love them, they’re Sssoooo HOT 🥴 (🤢).” With a 🤮finish. Sign me up!

It's more about the experience with friends.

That's a big part of it, sure. But why take you and your friends to something you do not like? All of you could have a free experience somewhere you DO like instead... right?
No way! It would be excruciating.

If I hated them that much you couldn't even pay me to go.
I can see lots of free live music events so 'free' is not that enticing.
