I would, and I have; but it has to be someone I care about or am responsible for. As for the few who imagine themselves to be selfish . . . I suspect they haven't come across a sympathetic victim yet; nor experienced real hardship. Time will tell.

I have known people over the years who have been needy and down right destitute. I'd think nothing of helping if I know what ever is given will be well received and used.
