Which “New Year’s Jokes” made you laugh? :)

By LJP . Created on Jan 08, 2021
Just to lighten the mood, I made a poll about “Dad Jokes” before. This time is about “New Year’s Joke”. Heads up, they are similar to “Dad Jokes”, a little corny. These jokes can make us smile/giggle/laugh despite their corniness. Pick one that you like. IF you got jokes about the New Year, feel free to add in the comment.

Thank God he is!! Can't get rid of that "deranged" dic(K)tater soon enough. Buh-Bye. You know prison stripes are going to look REALLY good with his glowing ORANGE parlor. :-)

Marie - except these days I believe many prisons use the orange jumpsuits, so yeah, will match his color quite well.

Right on! :) You never know the reaction a joke will get. Not everyone has the same sense of humor. Either they will groan/complain or laugh! 😉 Thanks for the comment.

This is no joke but VERY, VERY, VERY COOL!! Scotland commissioned a poem in three parts from their poet laureate, Jackie Kay and had it read out in different voices during this light show celebrating Hogmanay 2020: https://youtu.be/Xx3Zmkgt2no And, watch the behind the scenes that is the next up on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wt5AXI6p3Q

In the same "vein", have you ever heard of Victor Borge?? He was a BRILLIANT pianist, and comedian. You absolutely HAVE to find the routine he does where he "sounds out" phonetically "punctuation" in a story he is reading. I believe it was a PBS special, and it's as good as the "right brain" lady comedian, and Wonky-Donkey. You can "thank me" later, :-)

Yes, thanks, Marie - I remember Victor Borge - very funny, but not sure you saw the same video - this one is Scotland's farewell to 2020 w. visuals by lighted drones - I could drone on and on about drones, haha.
