Whens the last time you took a me day?

Setting aside an entire day to completely focus on you and your wants. To refresh your brain and rest your body. Have one day where no one could bother you and you could come and go as you please.

This is just like budgeting, you can't delete everything or you will never stay on the course. Balancing is the key!

Before I retired, I would take my vacation by taking off Mondays. Between this and holidays, I could go without working a Monday for about 6 months a year. I found that this left me much more relaxed during the week.

aHay que tomarse se tiempo de descanso en serio porque sino lo haces el cuerpo te lo va a cobrar caro mas adelante. A relejarse de vez en cuando.

I was actually forced to...I had worked myself into a corner and had a migraine for 4 days. I ended up in the hospital and decided to take a few days off of work and recover. Thank God I did too, I needed that time to myself and the family bonding was great! You HAVE to take care of yourself because no one else will!

I always have me time with my awesome family. I don’t work anymore (visa problem) , hubby works remote and my kids having online school, so I wake up anytime , I just cook lunch and dinner and the rest of the chores will be done by my kids and hubby . So I find lots of me time everyday. Kinda enjoying retirement life already.
