When choosing a book, do you go by the blurb, the front cover or the author?

The author will work if you know the author to be dependable for you, but using the cover is like buying a product because of the music in it's commercial. The blurb--then check the reviews--works best, I think.

I prefer to check the author out and reed the back of the book to get a little feel of what its about

I prefer to go for aspecific author I do generally read the back of the book to get a general idea about the book. As a rule I try to read any and all books my favorite authors have wrote and books by their alter names.
