There is no such thing as stressless nursing. 30 years in nursing. For every one patient, family member, Dr, coworker, boss that treats you with respect there are 5 of each title that treats you like a servant, belittles your knowledge, so very ready to throw you under the bus refusing to take any blame themselves. For all the good ones like you, Angel, there are a large number of crap nurses, like the wend-down-my-years-to-retirement ones in my late mom's nursing home, ones who take more break time in a week than you've probably ever took in a month or more, or like the E.R. triage nurses I suffered through in 3 different hospitals locally who were either more interested in: discussing their weekend drinking binge p...

I guess I got rid of my stress when I quit the hospital and went to work for the prison system for 26 years before retiring.
