I know it doesn't really help, but frequently I'll watch a movie. Otherwise, I try to read to distract my mind, meditate to clear my mind, or take deep breaths to try to relax tension. If I am dealing with RLS stuff, I get up and wash dishes, do light housework or sort paperwork.
