Tired of polls without an option of 'none' or 'other'?

By karrell . Created on Apr 09, 2021
So many polls I am forced to pick an option which is not a truthful answer, just so I can get the poll off my screen. People, add 'other' or 'none' or something to give us a way to answer correctly!!!

I would dearly love to see a comment or explanation box where one could explain there answer. Many times I am faced with an answer that is not really truthful but needs to be explained. Example concerning my car question was it both new or leased, I won the car and it was new.

You can get a poll off the screen in other ways: in the top row of each poll, full right, is an arrow to go to the next poll; in the same row, full left is a square with nine other squares inside that allow you to choose a different poll; and there is an X in the upper right of most browsers. You do have a good choice available, really.

Damien, now/now, there you go again, offering up "sensible and LOGICAL advice". You know that, and I know that, but do "THEY" know that?? :-)

None or other does not really tell the surveyor much.

Exactly. There is a reason one asks a question, right?

If a poll is narrowly construed with limited selections with no chance of a answer which fits your situation, if there is a slot available, make up your own answer. Or simply skip the entire issue. You can toss out an answer in the comments field.

As someone that has made several decent polls, you know (as do I) that the "option" to allow others to add answers has to be "checked". I generally fill in all the available answer choice boxes, OR simply don't "allow" others to add to MY POLL! :-)

It s just we have to get ready with all the uncertainties in life. We never know about the options available in future:)
