Alter - so many videos on You Tube and Pinterest for this now. Alter as a hand me down to someone younger and smaller - even better.

clothes get 'stepped down' as they get older, stained, ripped, worn out, etc from 'public', to around the house, to yard/lake etc. I have t-shirts that are 20+ years old
