I don't claim to be any expert on it either and only discovered some of these through the Complete Idiots Guide mentioned below. While one can argue if everything in the Bible actually happened or not, it does contain some tales that can be pretty odd at times.

A word on drunk naked Noah, which no one has commented on. This occurs at some point after the flood, he and his family have settled down, and Noah plants a vineyard. In any case, Noah gets drunk, passes out in his tent in a stupor, and his son Ham comes in and inadvertently sees his dad lying there naked, so he decides to leave. Good one! The fingers of a man’s hand appear and write while a drunken party is going on. This writing appears on a wall so the king can clearly see the hand writing the words. The inscription consisted of four words, all monetary weights which Daniel is able to read. Suffice to say, Belshazzar's days are numbered...
