Just for fun!! There are some very unusual houses/homes that people live in. Which of these out of the ordinary homes would you choose?

All kinds of unusual dwellings to call a home, from shipping container houses to high in the forest tree house homes. Which one would you rather live in and make your abode? :-)

I had a friend that built his own Spherical house, it was nice. That's what I would prefer~~

Some of those well built tree houses are really cool! Great view ! Have to get used to climbing those stairs though! Marie you may remember some people near Green Valley south of Tucson moved into an abandoned. Underground ICBM missile site! Don ' t expect a quick sale if you want to move!

Milan, I had heard that some of the decommissioned ICBM sites were for sale. I "think" I recall taking a "tour" of one such site when husband was stationed at DM. Even as a "skinny" young bride, I DID NOT LIKE going into the tight access tunnel. I found it totally uninteresting and rather claustrophobic. EXTREMELY narrow spaces, we had to walk in single file, and to "turn around&qu...

I like the idea of a tree house but in reality I am not sure what it would feel like to live in one.

I think my head is stuck in reality as I choose the Jet Plane home as the one w. the best defense - against wind, rain, marauding mutants, zombies, wild boars, crazy crabs, you name it. I really wrestled w. this one, Marie, they are all such great places, and my first love was Tarzan (and his treehouse), but I must be feeling a need for future preparedness. yikes :-)

M A, I can see the logic in choosing the Jet Plane for a home/house. It would be pretty sturdy, from most things, especially around my area of the Southern US with the many hurricanes that we have on a yearly basis. I would choose the tree house for somewhat the same reason, but with it having stairs, there could need to be a way to either bring them up into the house, or a different way of getting into the house to...

Marie, there are water zombies - Brian would know this, I bet, and could tell us exactly what movie(s) they're in, to prove they exist! hahaha And yes, sharknados, And attacking orcas, have you heard that one yet? But I've always Loved being on the water, and often thought about how great it would be to have a houseboat. Not since the water zombies, though. Hey, do you remember the Swiss Family Robinso...

There is a jet home like the above not far from where I lived in TN. Saw it from a helicopter. Just dropped in the woods, which made for an unusual location for an unusual home.

Damien, the picture I chose which is a stock photo on the I-say site, very well could be the one in TN. I've seen stories about various homes made from old airplane fuselages. Why not? They are weather worthy, and certainly a LOT of room inside to customize just about any way someone chooses. Would be a rather LONG and Narrow house/home though. I wonder how much something like that would cost to buy? The plane ...

Marie I saw the comment on Siriachi Sauce. I have not found it here as I've not actively sought it out. It's not something in the Mid-West area where I reside to be a spicy sauce needed for special dishes done with Southern Cooking in mind. I did look-up black-eyed peas and they are related to chickpeas or garbanzo beans. Another food not seen very much around here.
