It's what is in the cake / what type of cake that matters , not so much the shape.

@al, the best part of the cake, IMO, LOL!
My husband doesn't care so much for all the frosting and prefers one of the pieces from the middle of the cake, almost to the point where he scraps the frosting off. Says it's "too sweet", yet can polish off the sweetest kind of ice cream, SMDH...

So long as it is gluten-free, I will have some.
Amazon has a gluten-free carrot cake (made by Good Dee's) that is made from watermelon seed flour. I ordered a package to try, and it was very good. Up until then, I had never even heard of watermelon seed flour.

@Toad, that IS interesting about the watermelon seed flour, as small as a watermelon seed usually is, relatively speaking, that must be an awful lot of processing to get to the actual kernel. Kind of like a sunflower seed. @ MarieN -- I did not see watermelon seed flour at Whole Foods last week. I did see (and buy) some cauliflower flour. They also had sunflower flour, and almond flour. Publix sells almond flour a LOT less expensively.

Doesn't matter to me. Just that it has no strawberries on or in it. Allergic.
