John Barry

With the James Bond film No Time To Die finally out, thought it time for another film score poll about a guy you've probably heard, but not aware of. English composer John Barry was known for 11 of the Bond scores, and has won 5 Oscars for his music in other films. He has also scored TV shows and themes. Below are six of his better known ones, take your pick or add your own.

Born Free.. Saw that in the movies when I was very young, and loved it and the music. I don't think I've seen any of the others, although I do remember the Goldfinger theme song.

As stated below, I have yet to see Born Free, just recall the score and theme song. More useless trivia, there's an alternate version of the Goldfinger theme sung by Anthony Newley which was never used, though can be found on some Bond music collections. It's much more mellow and doesn't have the bite or drive of Shirley Bassey's version, I can see why they didn't use it.

See below for more on Born Free. It's very close with Dances With Wolves and Goldfinger at this point which rather surprises me.
