I'm thinking of getting a horse. Should I name it Charley, or Hobby? Maybe even RockN?

I've always wanted a horse, and recently have given more consideration to actually fulfilling my lifelong dream. I'm leaning towards one of the miniature varieties, as it wouldn't require as much room to roam, upkeep and expensive care. Mainly to be a companion pet, not for riding as they are too small for that. Very cute though. What do you think of one of the possible names?

How about Fuzzy or Windy? Mini's sound like a trip and will probably be a great pet! As far as being inexpensive not sure! My in-laws had 2 horses years ago on 10 acres north of Scottsdale . One an Appaloosa the other a part quarter horse . They were nice for riding but a tad pricey due to vet bills. The little guys sound more fun!

@Milan, those are both good names, but I already have a cat named Fuzzy, and as for "windy", well, let's just say my husband has that covered. I had a Morgan pony as a young teenager, and he had a nasty attitude. No matter how nice we were to him, he would turn his head and bite the "he!!" out of anyone trying to ride him, or even when feeding or brushing him. Try as I might, after 2 years i...

I get the connection about bacon, but what does "seed" mean? I had a friend that once told me a story about how she either grew up on, or lived for a while on a religious "cult" compound. She took care of the chickens, and we asked her if she ever named any of them. She said "Yes, Dumplin's, Fried, Roasted and Barbeque". GROAN!!!! %-)) Thanks for the comment! Blessings

Riding Hobby Horses could also be a Hobby! LOL!
I don't think there are large enough Hobby Horses, or RockN Horses for "groan-ups". Thanks for the comment!! Blessings

Yes, it is, in earlier generations every little boy and some girls at one time wanted a "Hobby Horse", but I don't think most younger people these days even know what that is. Basically it was a broomstick with a stuffed toy pony head and reins, attached to the stick, and a great way for kids to burn off a LOT of restless energy, LOL!! Thanks for the comment! Blessings

I love horses also, but it's a "joke" poll, just to see if people get the humor of having a Charley Horse, LOL.
Sometimes a leg cramp is referred to as a "Charlie/Charley Horse".
