If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again

The above quote is from George Carlin. Maybe it's just me, but some of the polls here as of late posted by obviously younger folk make me think WTF, is this the future? In any case, a few songs on aging...as always, add your own in comments.

In this case I might be dating myself but the song that gets me the most is "Cat's In The Cradle." I didn't understand it as a child but I grew to understand it better as I got older.

You're as young as you feel! Listen to today's music, yesterday's gone. Stay current and relevant!

I agree with the young as you feel part. Who's to say what is current and relevant, though? Odd how all these songs are, even though written some years back. Can that be said for some of the songs that pass as music today? Will anyone even recall them ten years from now?

I agree that it seems like most of the pollsters are the under 30 set, which isn't a bad thing, but I would like to see some polls of a more mature creation. I don't even know what some of these things are!!!

Another good one, I like her and Fleetwood Mac, one that skipped my mind.

My first comment: With some of these weird polls with even weirder answers, I was starting to wonder if there are points given for the number of polls made and/or the number of people who answer them. If I don't understand what's being asked, I skip those polls.
Brian said 4 weeks ago
No points are given for making polls or the number who answer them other than if it gets a lot of 'hits' I might be a featured poll on the site for a while. It's all for fun. I agree it's probably better to skip some of the stranger ones, but on the flip side the comments that get posted to them can be amusing in their own right.

Probably Bruce Springsteen. I’m sure you’re Young at Heart Brian. Young or Old we are the same. Each of us just want to be Happy. Carpe Diem! ✌🏼😃 🌈

Thanks, and yes, I know for certain I am still into the same things I was growing up. Must be Peter Pan Syndrome (not a real thing).

@ Brian -- Nice avatar.
Does it have a significance that you would care to share?

It's the lifeclock crystal from Logan's Run. It's set in a future with a death age of 21, kept track of by crystals put in people's palms at birth which change color as they age. Some believe in a place called Sanctuary and attempt to flee the system, only to be hunted by a group called Sandmen.

@ Brian -- I enjoyed the movie, years ago. I did not recognize the "timer", tho. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
