I bake a lot and I try and stay stocked with the most necessary ingredients but sometimes I run out or run short if I can't find a quick substitution then I grab another recipe.

Just go buy it, or improvise & find a substitute. Mostly, I plan ahead & prepare/buy the ingredients I would need :)

really, it all depends on what I'm making, sometimes subs wont do.. say I had 4gotten an ingredient to go in big special dinner...the option I would have chosen would b to throw myself down on the floor and throw a tiny silent fit and then calmly get up and go get forgotten ingredient. lol. I swear it!!
