the only ones who are always happy about a divorce are the lawyers. They usually walk away with most of the money.

Primarily because, if you believe in marriage's purpose, it's a horrible thing.
Then again, I can totally see how it can also be liberating and the right thing to do, based on the circumstances.

It depends on the situation. If either person is getting abused or was cheated on then yes I agree divorce is ok but for any other reason, I don't think divorce is the answer. It's called counseling. I don't believe in divorce outside of abuse and cheating.

The last option when all else has failed! That is why in my mind couples should be on the the same page in regards to a lifetime commitment! I believe people who marry should take those vows seriously! Compatible physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually( same religious beliefs), and actually love each other! Divorce is legal and sometimes the only answer! But as they say no guarantees in life!!

Sometimes it's better for a child to have the parents apart so they don't have to hear and see the constant fighting and tension in the house.
