Have your rewards points expired for no reason?

By Danomite . Created on Sep 14, 2020
I made a little over a hundred points the other day and all of a sudden they "expired" the very next day for seemingly no reason. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, it'd be great if you could comment on why you believe they expired. I'm having trouble getting in contact with Customer Support in regards to this issue.

What irks me is on some surveys, they are doing a new product and ask my opinion. Sometimes I think the idea is not so good and answer that way. At the end of the survey after answering for 10 minutes of questions I get "Not Qualified". To me they will not accept any answers except positive replies to report back to the sponsor. But the thing every survey site says is BE HONEST. So much for honesty.

My points have not expired but I haven’t heard from customer support in days and I filed a complaint on a whole other matter on September 11 and I still haven’t heard from them.

Good luck with expecting a "quick" reply. I contacted I-say a few times about an "issue" I was having several years ago. Many "months" later a reply came back, I think it was close to 5-6 months, by that time I had actually forgotten about the problem, and had managed to figure it out through this forum instead. :-/)

I received 20 points for an anniversary date and they removed it the next day. There are many that had commented on that. So my answer is yes.

Yes, same here, only they had my "anniversary" years incorrect. No big deal to me, easy come, easy go. As I mentioned, it's easy enough to make back 20 points, IF not qualifying for 4 surveys. 5 points at a time still eventually add up. Something does seem "odd" about 100 points for completed surveys being taken away so quickly. As Fred mentioned I-say can be very slow in replying sometimes....

In response to a few of the comments, I earned these points by doing 4 surveys; of which all answers given were honest, consistent, and detailed. This was only two days ago, so any sort of inactivity period requirement would certainly not have been met. I don't mind being patient, as the total points only amount to a dollar and change. I guess what bothered me more was the princible of the matter: how it see...

I don't know of any of the survey's that if four were completed you'd only get 100 points. If each were 25 points to get to the 100 points something is wrong. Usually it's 5 points for participation, then into 45 points and 90 points. Some of the special monthly or annual surveys usually start at 300 and go up from there. There is also 150 points for a survey which takes 45 minutes or more to com...

I received 150 points the otherday. This survey took about 20 minutes. I've gotten to a point in a few surveys where they keep telling me I'm missing a part of the answer and I do answer all the questions. I then close it out.

No. I've always found i-Say to be good w. their record keeping and payouts. How frustrating for you, but like Fred and Brenda commented, be patient.
