Many are outdoors persons. Love to be in the wild and hunt and fish. My family have done it for many years and I did catch this habit from my father and uncles. I do pay for the permits which helps the wild life management group in my state. Permits are usually given when numbers of animals out number the area's ability to support them for food and shelter. And I always eat what I shoot. Release most fish as well to live another day. So I do not waste the animal life in my area.

I have never gone hunting but I support those who want to and do it in a responsible manner.

I went with my ex husband, got bored and went back to the camper and got my camera. That kind of hunting was more fun.

Hunting should be our right to do. But only in providing food we need and use properly without wast or an appreciation for the animal that had to be sacrificed for sustaining life. Sport hunting is a horrible and disgraceful act and should be completely banned.

Tough to find the time or money to do it properly; but I've already got my retirement cottage picked out in Northern Ontario.
