My kids are grown and on their own now, but growing up I taught them about credit and handling money/finances...wanted them to be good stewards of their earnings.

We let our children know this. We said it's important to pay bills on time. It can affect your credit score. We said use a credit card and make payments on time. Doing this will improve the score.
