Do you think time travel is actually possible?

By Brian . Created on Jun 11, 2020
There have been all manner of books, shows, movies about this topic, as well as studies. So what's your call? The main question I have is since time is something invented by people, how can one travel it? Sure, the Earth rotates, the days and seasons pass...but in the grand scheme of things is that time, or simply what we decided it to be?

No! I believe the Bibles statement--- It is appointed unto man once to die then the judgement! I believe our time from birth to death is a given and fixed!

When we critically look at what sci-fi has presented on TV and in movies and compare it to today's world (let alone the future), it is amazing what has become Science Fact! And I'll just use Star Trek as an example:

Not going to argue with any of this, Jules Verne imagined traveling to the moon long before anyone did it (and his method of getting there and back was pretty accurate), as well as submarines. Show like Star Trek continued this trend. I've seen other things in documentaries where they are playing around with power suits to give people strength for lifting or warfare, or totally cloaking something using camer...

Now that is sort of a freaky notion, or simply time zones, because I live in one place, it's a certain time, other areas can be ahead or behind me in terms of time.

Not at this time. If and when possible the world could change from their past errors. You could show the people what happened with some of their decisions that they made.

While it is true that time was invented by humans , would it not be possible that some things , such as a parallel universe - also time specific - also be possible ? Just a thought.

That I can kind of buy into. Not to keep bringing up sci-fi films again, but in Battle for the Planet of the Apes, Virgil states he thinks time is like one of the old the old motorways, with billions of cars moving from the past to the future. A car in lane 'A' might crash, while one in lane 'B' survives. His conclusion is one could switch lanes and survive, but it's a blind choice. So y...
