Not a holiday, Back to School. They advertise a week after school closes.

That's because some people have so many kids going back to school, they have to spread out the supplies as they can afford them. OF COURSE in our area, and perhaps many others as well, these same people line up in DROVES for the free school supply give-away events. :-(

When Christmas displays go up in the stores before Halloween, Thanksgiving is not even given a thought by retailers, and Valentine' displays are up before Christmas , I'd say things are commercialized way too much.

We got our Christmas cookie tins at Sam's Club 2 weeks ago. Halloween candy and costumes 1 week ago. It may help my bonus, but I am completely on board with you.

HOLLY "daze", Damien, the cookies will be stale, and the candy probably won't taste "fresh". Of course if it's a good buy, the cookies and candy won't last long enough to go stale anyway. Tell me, oh wise one, do they have the Fruit Cakes in stock, yet?? I LOVE the 3pk Claxton Fruit Cake bars! YUM!! :-) (yeah, I KNOW most people will say "no way", more for me)
