Do you think smokers are treated unfair?

By Jacqueline . Created on May 10, 2019
I am a smoker and sometimes I regret I started, but stopping is very hard and I tried this several times. Unfortunately no success. Smokers are "banned" from a lot of places which takes away the pleasure of going somewhere. I think this is unfair and should be changed so that we smokers could have more fun again.

The people that gets the worst of these smoking bans are the proprietors that are forced to close their doors because the inner city banned smoking so the smokers go to the suburbs and spend their money there

Smoking should be discouraged, but banning smoking from outdoor areas such as parks and beaches is more a matter of ostracizing smokers rather than promoting health.

I think banning would be not smart but maybe instead have a designated smoking area or smoke far away from other people are, where they can't breathe it in?

You worry about people who smoke. But yet at least in canada the plants and founderies aka sunco esso etc...are killing us with worse toxins we breath in every day.

Of course they are treated unfairly!

If I chose to pollute the local public area with a lingering, stinky stench, I'd be in trouble. Smokers can do so with relative impunity.
