Used chopsticks exclusively for 2 years. I think I know how to use them.

Practice with unsharpened pencils, or knitting needles about the size of chopsticks, with small objects in a bowl. Small pieces of waded up scrap paper, paperclips, "O" type cereal are good ways to learn. I learned by picking up green peas, and got it fairly easily. If you have good small motor skills that seems to help master the technique quicker. My husband can't use chopsticks at all, he is more o...
