There IS a vast underground network of tunnels, it's probably as big, or bigger than the park it's self. :-)

Disney World WAS about the cost of a bottle of water ($3.50) when it first opened in 1971, by today's prices. Growing up in FL, I know that for a fact. A family close to me went shortly after it opened, and for a family of 6 (Mom/Dad, 4 kids) they got in for less than $25. Of course at that time there was also a "ticket booklet" included for the different rides and/or attractions. They had a limited a...

I believe that I was briefed that this structure should be the tallest of buildings because; of security (You can see it from anywhere in the park), this makes for a good place meet as a family and so if your child gets lost, a place to go to meet and be safe.
