There IS a vast underground network of tunnels, it's probably as big, or bigger than the park it's self. :-)

True, but apparently when it first opened, tickets where about $3.50.

Disney World WAS about the cost of a bottle of water ($3.50) when it first opened in 1971, by today's prices. Growing up in FL, I know that for a fact. A family close to me went shortly after it opened, and for a family of 6 (Mom/Dad, 4 kids) they got in for less than $25.
