I lived in Denver for 7 months when I was in the Air Force (1981). I liked Denver - at least as it was back then - But I thought that Boulder was a more beautiful place - again , at least as it was back then. It has become a magnet for Liberal / Progressive types in the present day , and I could be wrong , but I fear that kind of environment will be their undoing.

Boulder as long as my home can see Pike's Peak

Pikes Peak is closer to Colorado Springs - Boulder is much further north , near Fort Collins.

Living in Boulder offers residents an urban - suburban mix feel. Most residents rent their homes, in Boulder there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. The public schools in boulder are highly rated.
