Bits and Pieces

I've enjoyed building model kits since I was young. While it's not a hobby everyone is into, I was curious if anyone builds models or did in the past and if so of what. Below are a few of the most common, other than model trains since I was going for the non-mechanical type.

And finally The Wolfman. Base scratch made from various items, kit made of vinyl. I'd ask other's to put their work here if they want to share, thanks!

I know the fun of finding bits and pieces (hahaha-title of poll) of common household items to add to a project and thereby transforming them to a new imagination. Expressing...

Heck might as well post the other's I took: The Michelle Pfeiffer version of Catwoman from Batman Returns. Her whip (wrapped over her shoulder and around the waist) was made out of garbage bag twist ties. Unlike other kits, she's made of vinyl.

That does look like a fun one. Man 'o man, kits are way more handy than making all that stuff out of FIMO, haha, and yet you can still add your own creative touches.
Brings nice memories of my own inspirations. Thanks.

Wow Brian! That is So Cool! I see what you mean about all the little stuff. And the extra detailing for realism. How tall is he? In inches. Thanks for this, Brian, and for this poll - it's good fun!
No idea about posting pics but I know you'll figure it out and treat us w. more :-)

I'm curious Brian - are the ones shown yours? Can you flick us a pic of your creations? Please :-)

No, these are ones taken from the web. I'll see what I can do of taking some pictures of ones I have built and getting them here.
