Winter is pleasant where I live. I used to shovel a lot of snow but then I moved to a warmer climate and it is much better weather.

I'm a little further North than you all and I'm thinking we're in for Big snow this winter. Warming lake effects and all that science stuff. I agree w. Fred about watch where you walk - I may act like a kid but I'm old enough to break a hip. Sadly, gone are my high heels. More sensible footware now. And, we have chimney cleaned, wood stacked, generator and snowblower ready, snow tires, vehic...

I think "The Thing" was a winter horror at an arctic station, and I did see a cheesy one w. Bigfoot, lol. I agree w. al - the cold sux, and I think that makes horror that much more horrible :-)
