If you don't over do it then No, but for some it's bad, because they neglect their life, doing nothing, but stay on these games all the time.

If you balance it out... of course if you loose your reality on life then theres a problem, but if you choose to pick up a controller after a stressful day instead of spewing mean words to those around you then kudos

As with most things, if you don't let the video games take over your life and you play them for a reasonable time, you can actually learn from games. You can increase your brain function, your motor skills, and your typing or finger/wrist/hand skills.
